Who here has ordered pizza at the end of the week because you don’t feel like cooking? I have many times! A super simple breakfast idea is frying an egg, and placing it on top of a warmed up slice of pizza. It’s so delicious.
All you need is cold pizza, an egg, and maybe a splash of hot sauce if you like it spicy. Just warm up the pizza in the microwave until desired warmth, and fry the egg in a pan. You want the whites to be fully cooked, but the yolk to be runny. The yolk will add character and creaminess to your left-over pizza. Once the egg is completely cooked, place it on top of the slice of pizza. I sprinkle pepper, salt, and hot sauce on top of it to give it a nice little kick.
This is such an easy treat that you guys are gonna make it over and over again. I hope you enjoy your reinvented left-over pizza.
Last but not least, a great wine to pair with this dish would be a Pinot Noir. The flavors of the pizza and the mellow notes of the wine will make your mouth sing. Enjoy!
